Includes a museum ticket that lets you delve deeper into the world of tea and the town of Uji!
While taking in the view of the tea fields and Uji’s scenery spread out before you, you’ll grind the tea leaves yourself to make matcha.
Guided by an instructor certified as a Japanese Tea Instructor, you’ll then enjoy the matcha you’ve prepared yourself. We invite you to enjoy this all-matcha experience that combines the three essential steps: “grinding,” “whisking,” and “drinking.” (Please note that you cannot take the matcha home with you.)

Area & City/Town Introduction (Uji City)
Uji City is located halfway between Kyoto and Nara, borders cities such as Otsu in Shiga Prefecture, and offers easy access to both Kyoto and Osaka. The Uji River flows through the center of the city, offering a picturesque natural environment. It is also a town rich in historical charm, home to numerous shrines and temples, including the World Heritage Site Byodo-in Temple and Uji-kami Shrine. Its specialty product, “Uji tea,” is widely recognized as a high-quality tea, and recently, sweets made with Uji matcha have also gained popularity.
