Country Cooking Class in a Traditional Japanese Farmhouse
At a traditional thatched-roof farmhouse, you'll learn about "one soup, three dishes," a fundamental principle of Japanese cuisine.
Under the guidance of Sayaka from the farmstay, you’ll have fun learning the basics of Japanese cuisine, such as how to cook delicious rice, make dashi broth, and prepare thick-style omelets.
You’ll also try your hand at making seasonal side dishes and tempura using local ingredients, and complete a meal featuring one soup and one main dish.
