Kyoto Satoyama Living Experience Stay
An experience-based stay of 3 days/2 nights to 5 days/4 nights in the satoyama countryside of Ayabe, Kyoto. Guests stay at our one-group-per-day inn and choose one of six shared rural life experience each day, enjoying local encounters, food, nature, and culture with their hosts.
This is an experience-based stay where guests can take part in everyday life in the satoyama countryside of Ayabe, Kyoto.
Staying at our one-group-per-day farm stay, guests can experience the rural lifestyle we practice through a short farm tour, Ichiju-Issai cooking, and meals around the traditional irori hearth.
During a stay of 3 days/2 nights to 5 days/4 nights, guests can choose one experience per day from six options: “Seasonal Farming Experience & Village Walk”, “e-Bike Satoyama Cycling Tour”, “Satoyama Walk & Local Encounters”, “Satoyama Traditional Life Experience”, “Mochi Pounding & Shimenawa Making”, and “Japanese Culture Experience & Ayabe Town Walk.”
