Go with a Game Hunter! A Real Hunting Experience & Wild Game French Cuisine Tasting Tour

From hunting experiences to exquisite French courses prepared by game hunters! This is a special program that lets you experience firsthand “protecting the environment and honoring the gift of life.”

Kentaro Nakajima is a game hunter with 20 years of experience and a chef. To protect local farmland and the satoyama environment, he not only culls pests that ravage the forest but also practices preparing and enjoying the game properly every day.
On this tour, after learning from Mr. Nakajima about the current state of wildlife damage, you’ll actually head into the mountains with him to observe the entire process—from the hunt itself to the subsequent butchering and processing of the deer.
Furthermore, Chef Shinsaku Shiomi of “Bistro q,” an authentic French restaurant in Fukuchiyama, will prepare the freshly butchered venison. Chef Shiomi will pair it with seasonal vegetables grown in his own garden to create a flavorful French course meal.
